What qualifies you to decide whether or not Snape meets the criteria for placement on this site?

Nothing more than you, I suspect. I am simply a huge fan of Snape (one of many) and enjoy reading fan fic when I have time. I tend to view the Harry Potter universe as realistically as possible (as dichotomous as that sounds) and am pleasantly surprised when I find a fic exemplifying the canon material in a creative worthwhile fashion. While most individuals do not give a toss about preserving the presented Harry Potter universe, there are several aficionados who appreciate a well-crafted Snape tale. This site is for them.

What is canon?

The original work -- JK Rowling's novels.

What is slash?

Same sex sexual pairing.

Why is my story not listed?

It hasn't found its way to my attention or doesn't meet the criteria. Write and ask me, if you wish.

Why are there so few stories and most of them rated R and higher?

This site is in its infancy. I am still scrambling to find those I've read, enjoyed and neglected to bookmark. Please tell me about stories that should be listed here or become a reader for this site. Most are rated R and NC-17 because that is my preference but I'd love to find and list those of tamer ratings.

My "in progress" story was once listed -- why was it pulled?

You likely wrote something contravening the qualifications for listing on this site.

I likely haven't had time. I work considerable hours, write and have a husband. I work on updating this site whenever time permits. Feel free to help out (see above question).

How do you rate the stories?

I rate based on the following:

Storyline.

Writing style.

Spelling.

Grammar.

Each item is worth 5 points for a total of 20. If a story does not have a rating, it means I have not finished reading it yet. If you are interested in becoming a reader for this site, please let me know. What I may consider is a good storyline or writing style may be different from others -- so do bear this in mind.
